Teen struck by car, critically injured on Blvd.

A 15-year-old girl was critically injured early Dec. 3 when she was struck by a car as she was walking across Ryan Avenue near the Roosevelt Boulevard, police said.

The teen, whom police did not identify, was in the crosswalk at 6:28 a.m. when she was hit by a 1998 Ford that was northbound on the Boulevard. She was hospitalized in critical condition with severe head trauma and a broken left leg, police said. The driver stayed on the scene. ••
